Trunkline Notice of Upcoming Open Season for Interim Capacity

Trunkline Gas Company, LLC (TGC), in a follow up to its earlier postings (Notice ID 30834 and ID 31963), hereby gives notice of upcoming interim capacity.  TGC undertook the early expansion of interim backhaul capacity within TGC’s Zone 1A that is planned for service to the Lake Charles LNG facility.  Service to Lake Charles LNG is expected to be on or around November 1, 2028. 

This early expansion is anticipated to go into service on January 1, 2024 and TGC then will be able to offer firm backhaul capacity of 100,000 MMBtu per day on an interim basis.  TGC hereby gives notice to all interested parties of an upcoming binding open season to be posted for bidding on or about January 4, 2024 for the 100,000 MMBtu of available interim capacity for service commencing April 1, 2024. The open season will close on February 2, 2024. Additional details and bid criteria will be set out in the open season notice.

After the close of the open season, TGC will evaluate all conforming and acceptable bids.  Awards of capacity will be governed by GT&C Section 10.10 of TGC’s Tariff.
